The new tourist website of Istria

Istria Tourist Board welcomes its guests this year with, among others, the new tourist destination web portal representing Istria through new visual solutions.

Aiming at positioning Istria as a region of modern tourist product, the Tourist Board included development of new products and use of new innovative, environmentally-friendly and economically viable technologies among its tasks.

Responsive web design (RWD) is a method of creating and developing a changeable web interface adapting to all devices and resolutions – ranging from mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktop monitors to smart TV sets.

Such a display replaces mobile applications and facilitates access, reading, using and sharing information from the destination web portal with various browser types.

With this very intention in mind, the Tourist Board has developed a new web portal which uses this advanced technology. RWD represents a step forward in design considering not only webpage appearance and design but also the manner in which the content is displayed to the user.
