Italian travel bloggers and their emotions in the 'New Tuscany'
Valamar Gourmet Bloggers Tour, organized by Valamar Hotels & Resorts and Istria Tourist Board, in collaboration with two travel bloggers from Tuscany, has just ended. Success beyond all expectations. The impressions of bloggers are indicative of strong liking of Istria, the so-called New Tuscany, and hospitality signed Valamar. And the overriding importance of social networks and web communications for this type of events.
Valamar Bloggers Gourmet Tour ended Monday, June 2nd and the eight Italian travel bloggers were captivated by the beauty that the so-called New Tuscany offered them during the four days in Istria. Porec, with its large choice of activities, and Rabac, the most charming tourist destination on the east coast of the Istrian peninsula and known as "The Pearl of the Adriatic", offered to bloggers an almost endless array of wonderful coves and unspoilt beaches pebbles.
But also the visit to the ancient towns of Labin and Motovuon have impressed Italians bloggers. This is clear from the words of Alexander Bertini, founder of Girovagate and coordinator of the Italian bloggers in Istria. He was particularly attracted by the "scent of history contained within the walls of Motovun".
The visit started from Porec, then continued discovering the green, large forests, ancient villages, the sea, wild colors, flavors precious Istrian cuisine has to offer. Because, as pointed out by Enzo Ferrari (Inguaribile viaggiatore), one of the bloggers who took part to the initiative, "the holiday in Istria is not just for those who want a beautiful sea and white sand beaches, but also delightful towns that tell through their architecture the Istrian history, a lush hinterland and last but not least a refined attention to food and wine."
