Rovinj surpassed its own record

Rovinj, the brightest pearl of the Istrian coast, reached a figure of three million overnight stays for the fifth year running on 13th September. And these figures are evidence that this Istrian destination does not live on its former glory, shown by the fact that this impressive figure is achieved earlier each year - and this year is no exception, being nine days sooner than in 2014.

This result was achieved with 460 thousand arrivals and makes Rovinj the most visited Croatian destination. Of the three million overnight stays, 1,540,000 belong to the campsites, 540,000 to the hotels, 530,000 to private accommodation and 390,000 to apartments and tourist resorts.

The continuous work and joint forces of both the public and private sector is necessary to achieve this impressive result. Constant investment in the tourist offer and the attractions to be found there in order to raise the Rovinj's offer to an even higher qualitative level also raises the competitiveness and recognition of Rovinj as a tourist destination, and has paid off, as can be seen by the figures achieved and the increasing number of arrivals and overnight stays in the city of St. Euphemia.
